Whether you're a first-time dog owner or not, bringing a new puppy home can be a daunting challenge! There's so much to do, and it can be overwhelming trying to figure out training needs, plus care and husbandry, and sometimes it's hard to know where to turn for help!

This package gives you the opportunity to get started as soon as you like - no need to wait for puppy's vaccinations to be completed as sessions happen in your own home! Together we'll begin with basic training and troubleshoot any and all of those super common puppy problems you may be experiencing..

How it works
First Home Session
Before our first session, you'll fill out a questionnaire which lets me know what training skills you're looking to learn, and what areas you may be seeking some help and advice with as well. We'll then get stuck into our first session together, working through those highlighted areas and getting you those initial answers to your questions.
Training Plan Modified
Following our first Home Session, I'll go away and make any adjustments to the training plan for our subsequent 1:1 Sessions.
This will follow any goals laid out in your first session, and will also cover any key areas of knowledge that you've highlighted as part of that session.
Follow-up Sessions
We'll then have 2 more Home Sessions to use for training and discussion! During each hour, we'll practice exercises together and talk through training theory and owner knowledge to help achieve all of your early-stage goals. Each session is supplemented with a writeup & video content to aid practice.
You'll receive a digital booklet with all the puppy basics!

Often when I'm called in to help with a puppy aged 4-8 months, it's for the same few things; puppy biting, jumping up, barking, toileting problems, sleeping problems, or separation issues.
These are issues that most puppy parents will deal with in some capacity, but by starting early we can actually get ahead of the root causes for much of them, saving you a lot of frustration and strife!
Start early with core training foundations
It's amazing how much a young puppy can learn. There's a lot to be said for starting early and making the most of your time, particularly while you're stuck indoors until puppy's vaccinations are complete!
We can start on all the basics, from static skills like Sit, Down, and Stay, to Recall, handling for a happy and healthy pup, and even more advanced skills such as Scentwork and other forms of enrichment!

You're bound to have questions, and I'm ready to answer them all! I can help with advice on any household issues, training stuff, equipment, daily routine, feeding advice, enrichment and play, and more. Together we'll figure out your goals and priorities, and I'll put together a realistic training plan that we can follow in our sessions. My main goal is always to get you feeling confident, so you'll be given the tools and knowledge you need to set you and your puppy up for a happy life!

Puppy Biting
This is probably the most common thing I get asked for help with, and for some it can really be a major issue causing massive amounts of stress and frustration. Fortunately, it's super easy to get ahead of!
Sleeping at Night
Another common early struggle for puppy parents is dealing with those first few days when puppy is just settling in - how do you get them sleeping alone and all the way through the night? I'll give you the best and kindest advice on this, tailored to your circumstances.
